Long awaited Iphone case is out!

The long awaited Iphone 3GS case is now out. Along with screen protectors for the Iphone 4 and 2 plushes that rounds up the December import from Seimon-cho.

If you have forgotten or want to know more about the Iphone series of accesories that are to be released by Mori Chack look HERE. So that means the last thing to wait for is the Iphone 4 case that Mori-san proudly paraded @ STGCC '10.

Hop down to Seimon-cho @ IMM and Plaza Singapora to grab yours. Iphone 3GS cases are priced @ $30, and Iphone 4 screen protectors @ $12.60, the plushie ought to be about $22.80. :D As usual I have my pre-orders already so hurry and grab em before they're all gone!

STGCC DAY 1

Many apologies for the long delay, STGCC has been a long and draw out affair. Finally managed to consolidate the pictures I needed, and grabbed my thoughts down to blog. (Not to mention get sufficient rest)

The plan for the day was that the crew (consisting of toysetc, MunchKimz, myself and another friend) would arrive first to show our fan-tastic desire to enter STGCC. That plan failed, because the first person arrived at 6.30 am for 3 consecutive days; I gladly surrender first place to him :D However, I did arrive to take up 3rd place followed by toysetc and aforementioned friend.

The floodgates finally opened at 12pm, and *woosh* up we went and rushed in for our objectives of the day!

The first task of the day was to get my Gloomy Tofu! Which I did, but was stuck in a rather long queue at PI, which was due to their staff having a little trouble with the cash register, but thankfully was resolved after some fuss.

The remaining task of the day was to get the Tofu signed. That was to happen at 4.30 pm, hours away from the time we entered the convention.

Kim catches Mori for a quick pic! He's wearing the limited 10th Anniversary t-shirt! Damn I want his shirts~

To secure my place in the extremely limited number of slots for the autograph session, I was scoping out the PI booth about an hour and a half before the session. And thankfully I did so, because it turned out that there were SO MANY OTHER PEOPLE trying to get the autograph. With some luck, and a whole lot of determination, the whole lot of us got our slot for the FIRST autograph session for the Gloomy Tofu, by DevilRobots and Mori Chack!
I was no. 23 in line :P

Necessary picture after autograph.
The limit per person was one item to be signed by each artist, but I got rather confused and ended up getting both artists to sign on the figurine itself. In retrospect, it was not as desirable as getting DR to sign on the box and Mori to sign on the figurine; because Mori was left with a small spot on the figurines stomach to sketch his awesome Gloomy bear. Seriously, I have nothing but respect for his efforts at drawing the Gloomy on such a small space!!!

Seriously?!?

After getting my Gloomy signed, I was done with my aims for the day, and continued to explore the convention. The next two days were tougher, and there were autograph sessions for Mori Chack's merchandise and THOSE I DEFINITELY wanted to hit.

Meet and Greet @ PI

Just returned from an AWESOME night out with the author of toysetc and Munchkimz, at PlayImaginative, Iluma.

We were there for an "exclusive" PI members Chill-out session with Mori Chack, Simone Legno (Tokidoki) and Shinichirou Kitai + Koto Nishiyama (DevilRobots).

We prepared some SPECIAL gifts for them, and YOU (reader) will finally be able to see that SECRET PICTURE I posted a week ago. :D

We started off with Simone, because he was the most accessible to us; other artists were chatting with the PI staff members.
He liked them so much, he posted them on his twitter. XD

Next up was Shinichiro Kitai, and boy was he happy with the muffins!

Just to prove my point :P
Last but MOST DEFINITELY not the least, was MORI-san!!! He was delightfully surprised to see the muffins!
Yes, be very jealous, he's flashing that Iphone 4 with the case. I'm just glad my 3GS case is coming soon.

It was an excellent night getting to see my FAVOURITE artist Mori Chack, whom graciously drew me Blitz Billy (hehe although I believe he was rather shocked to get the request :P) Getting Simone and DR's sketches were also damn cool. Alright, here are the pictures! FEAST YOUR EYES AND BE JEALOUS MUAHAHAHAHA. [Just kidding :P]

Shinichiro Kitai drawing his trademark TOFU-OYAKO. Love his shirt.
Simone Legno sketching, you can see Blitz Billy peeking through the page before this one!

Author of Munchkimz. And her freshly doodled Gloomy on a very rare Hokkaido Kitty X Gloomy handbag. :D

From left to right: Author of toysetc with his now ubercool netbook, and Munchkimz!

Just my stalker picture of the day. :D

To check out videos of us handing out the gifts to the artists, trot down to toysetc and check out this post.

Lastly, photo of Shinichiro Kitai "biting" muffins courtesy of toysetc, and ALL muffins courtesy of Munchkimz (Do drop by their blogs, and if you need a muffin custom made you know who to look for :D)

Gloomy at STGCC in 2 days time.

I'm really really looking forward to STGCC this year, especially since Mori Chack will be heading down personally. I'm definitely gonna queue up to get some artwork done in my sketchbooks and some of my non-plush merchandise signed, ESPECIALLY the Gloomy Tofu.

Well, as a primer to his arrival, let's have a look at what he might possibly bring down to sell this year! (Actually, it's my wishlist. :D)

From top to bottom: Iphone4 screen protector, Gloomy tangled up speakers, Iphone 3GS case, Iphone 4 Case, Gloomy ROOTOTE.

I certainly hope he brings the ROOTOTE down for sale, and you can be sure that if its up for sale,I'll be the first to snap it up! The Iphone 4 case comes in red and black variations with the same picture.

Well, in any case, happy hunting at STGCC this coming Friday! Don't forget to check out other artists as well, you never know which might appeal to you!

Kirito (Angelo) X Gloomy Bear Winter Release

The schedule for release of the Winter version of Kirito X Gloomy Bear is out! And it's only available for online pre-orders, however the link to order is not out yet.

For now, here are a few pictures for preview!

omfg so cute!

Turns out Kirito (click on link to his official blog) used to be a member of Visual-kei band Pierrot and he's currently in a new band ANGELO. This is the fourth of a series of collaborations with Mori Chack (starting with spring), and I daresay it's an excellent one!

Head down to the Angelo Fanclub to keep an eye out for the link. Happy hunting! Oh and by the way, it's limited to 2,500 pieces ONLY.

P.S. Just an update but the 9inch Sitting Gloomy Bear plush will not make an appearance at STGCC as the production lines have failed to push them out in time. Sad but true, although not too much of a loss for me :P I will place my cash on the TOFU X Gloomy. Heh1

What's brewing....?

Here's a preview for what ToysEtc is planning for the upcoming STGCC!

I'm working with the the author of MunchKimz and ToysEtc for this project, and I'm very sure that the artists will be pleased to receive the fruit of our labour!

Can you guess what this is?

Post exams and 10 days to STGCC!

It's only 10 days more to STGCC people, so do keep your time free from the 10th to 12th December and head down to Suntec Convention Centre for some fun!

Anyways, forgive me for the long hiatus. So to start everything off with a BANG!!1

STGCC EXCLUSIVE!

This is the other item that you can be looking forward to purchasing when you attend STGCC. While I am most certainly not so much interested in the TO-FU face on one side, I will definitely be grabbing at least 2 of these Gloomy TO-FU's! Limited quantity aside, I am so taken in by the fact that this is a 10th anniversary item, not to mention Gloomy figurines are so damned rare!

Other than that, after purchasing the exclusive and other Gloomy merchandise, you will be able to have them autographed on 11th and 12 December when Mori Chack himself heads down to the convention for the autograph sessions. :D

With these great things just waiting for you to check them out come 10th December, do make sure you make the time!!
